Infrastructure. A digital curriculum requires schools to be equipped with the necessary infrastructure (e.g., bandwidth, wifi, laptops, ipads, chrome books) to deliver digital content. 

Mindset. A digital curriculum is not a resource bank or an online textbook. It requires a platform that seamlessly connects unit planning, lesson planning, instruction, assessment, reporting, communication and management tools in a purposeful way. 

Professional Development. Mechanisms need to be in place to ensure ongoing professional development for staff to support the effective and efficient use of the technology.

Time and Resources. A digital curriculum should contain an array of multi-media resources. And educators must be given the time to develop a new set of professional skills afforded by this new technology.
